She backed away and crawled off the cushions. "You- you lied? You sat there and left me alone?" She gasped. "I can't believe you did that." She shook her head and looked hurt.

She still sat there shaking her head, looking at him as if he were from a different planet. "Still! You could've talked to me, let it out of you, instead of hiding from everyone. Just like in 5th year when Mr. Weasley was attacked. You just--" She put her hair behind her ear and looked down.

She wrapped her knees up to her chest, the usual thing she did when she was really upset. She kept shaking her head.

The room was filled with utter silence. What had started as a "date" had turned out to be a thing where he had confessed about what really happened that summer.

She sat there, shaking her head and rocking herself back and forth. She saw the unopened bottle of champagne she was gonna have for both of them. She sniffed and she felt warm tears come at her eyes. So much for the make up and looking nice for the 'date'.

Harry walked over to her and sat down next to her. He looked at her and gave her a hug. "Listen Hermione," he started. "I'm really sorry. I truly am. If you cannot accept my word then you can do as you please."

She sat there for a couple minutes. "Harry, the past couple of weeks I have felt like I was the luckiest girl with the sweetest, loving, most honest guy in the world and to find out that you lied to me and did something like that just...ruined the moment." She replied.
