Harry picked up a few drumsticks and took a bite. His taste buds went wild. He hadn't had food this good since when he was at The Burrow last summer. "Excellent food Mrs. Granger." Harry said.

Mrs. Granger smiled gratefully and nodded at Harry. "Glad you like it dear." Hermione beamed at the two getting along and started eating some spaghetti and meatballs. "So Harry, Mione tells me you want to be an Auror, yes?" She asked.

"Yeah." Harry said. "But it'll take a lot for me to get in. With all the tests and N.E.W.T.'s. Takes several years of training. What I hear is that it's an excellent job but hard. With the tracking of dark wizards and such." He took another bite out of his drumstick.

She slowed down and looked down, slowly twirling spaghetti around her fork. "Ah, I see. Sounds like hard work but you don't seem like the slacking off type. I'm sure you'll achieve your goal." Mrs Granger said with a smile.

She put on an innocent voice. "So, mum. You know, uh...Harry, as you know, has no parents and lives with his aunt and uncle who treat him like a dog. I was wondering if, well...he could stay with us?" She asked sweetly, using the voice she always used to get her way with something serious. Mrs. Granger thought this over for a couple minutes.

Harry took a drink and thought of something quick. "Uh, I'll be right back." he said. "I need to go to the bathroom." Harry got up and pushed his chair in and walked to where he thought the bathroom was.

"Thanks" Harry sent back. He entered the room and went to the bathroom. He finished up and washed his hands. He walked back and sat back down in his chair.

She kept looking at her mum while Harry came back. Mrs. Granger looked at Harry and smiled. "I would be glad if you stayed here. Mione would too." She smiled at Hermione, who was now beaming. "Yay!!"

Harry smiled. "Thank you Mrs. Granger." Harry said. "If there's anything you need me to do just please inform me. Don't try to talk me out of it because just think of it as a thanks in return."
