Harry walked to where Platform 9 3/4 was located. He looked casual and leaned up against the entrance to the platform and when the muggles weren't looking he went through the barrier. Now where are Ron and Hermione? he thought.

As he thought this, someone jumped on his back to hug him. "Oh my god, it's you!! It's you!!! I've missed you so much!!" Hermione hugged him long and hard, afraid to let go. "How are you? After...what happened last year.." She asked. She sounded as though she was on the verge of tears

"I'm fine Hermione." he wheezed. "How have you been?" He looked at her. Not much had changed. She was the same. Same height, and what looked to be the same weight. "Wait a minute." he thought. "Is that a Firebolt. I thought she hated flying." "So what have you been up to?" Harry asked. "Is she coming on to me?" he thought.

"Not much. Growing up, becoming more girly, and as you can see I am ok with flying now. I got over my fear and bought this. I'm thinking of trying out for Chaser! I am pretty fast but I could use some training. You could help..." She added thoughtfully. Damn he got cute over the summer! She thought, looking him up and down smiling.

She smiled. "Sorry. I know I'm acting weird. It's just that since what happened to me last week and after seeing you.." She blushed and sat down in a seat near the window. She put her trunk on the rack and pet Crookshanks.

"Uh huh." Harry said. He was puzzled. What happened last week? "But anyways. Anything you want to tell me?" The train whistle blew and Ron was nowhere in sight. Was he in another car? Or was he just not coming back this year after what happened last year?

"Um...yeah." She went into explanation about the crash and how her dad died. When she was done, she was really upset and hugging her knees tight against her.
