Harry and Hermione stepped off the Hogwarts express onto the platform. It was different then during summer. There was snow on the platform and he was thinking there was some ice on it. He turned to Hermione. "So how we getting to your house?" Harry asked.

"Apparating. Mum can't drive cuz of the snow and ice. Besides, I do most of the driving now after dad..." She trailed off, clearing her throat and grabbing some snow before eating it.

"Ah." Harry said. " Well I need to make some stops in Diagon Alley." Harry smiled "I need to buy presents for you and Ron. I'll catch up with you later."

After she had apperated he set off to the Leaky Cauldron he walked through and wished Tom a merry Christmas and he entered Diagon Alley. He walked into Quality Quidditch Supplies and found a Chudely Cannons shirt for Ron. He payed and left the store. He walked down the street and a lone shop with just the thing Harry was looking for caught his eye. He went in and bought it. He made one final stop to the joke shop and he had a brief chat with Fred and George. After awhile he left back out into the streets of London and apperated to Hermione's house.

She smiled as the crack echoed through the kitchen. "Hey! Mum, Jesse and I are all making a special Christmas dinner. We're having a big turkey, sweet potatoes, corn, salad, and a big ice cream cake for dessert." She smiled at him.

He walked up the stairs and thought of something. Why not pay the Dursley's a little Christmas visit. He apperated with the presents to the front door of 4 Privet Drive. He entered the house and the whole family looked at him but didn't say anything. He walked up to where his room once was and peeled up the loose floorboards and put the presents in it. He soon aperated back to Hermione's house and found Hedwig back with a message. He read the letter over and wrote a response sending it back. He walked back downstairs to where Hermione was.

"I didn't really wish them a merry Christmas Hermione." Harry said. "I thought you would've known that. But I just wanted to give them a surprise gift. Seeing me during the holidays." He laughed a bit. "They were dumbstruck and didn't know what to say. They just stood there looking at me like sheep."
